RAIL VEHICLE FOR MOUNTING AND DISMOUNTING CONTACT SYSTEM WIRES AT PRESET TENSION AND METHODS OF WIRE MOUNTING BY MEANS OF THIS VEHICLE Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: railway transport; mechanized mounting/dismounting of contact systems of electrified railways at preset tension providing possibility of dispensing with subsequent adjustment of position of fastening and fixing members. SUBSTANCE: rail vehicle has self-propelled coupled trailer platform accommodating suspension wire winding/unwinding drums and transit winches with drives. Device for lifting and setting carrier cable and contact wires in mounting position is made in form of ramp with two telescopic uprights and mechanism providing their coordinated vertical displacement. Two support-and-guide mechanisms for horizontal side displacement of carriages are installed in upper part of ramp. Support-and-guide rollers of contact wires are installed on one of carriages. On other carriage a support-and-guide roller of carrier cable and carrier cable vertical displacement drive are installed on movable boom; mechanisms are furnished with independent drives. EFFECT: possibility of mounting straight, stagger, and inclined contact lines; improved reliability of operation. 13 cl, 9 dwg
