FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railroad electrification and may be used for vertical adjustment of chain catenaries. Proposed method comprises arranging the droppers in spans after unreeling of bearing cable and catenary, setting and adjusting of central anchoring, installing and tensioning of spring cables, adjustment of retainers with due allowance for design settings of catenary zigzags. Thereafter span actual lengths are measured as well as actual height marks and bearing cable zigzags at the points of cable suspension using the known high-precision instruments. Then lengths of droppers are calculated proceeding from the results of measurements, mountings drawings are issued to start making of droppers. Thereafter, droppers are installed in design position in compliance with mounting drawings.
EFFECT: easy and accurate adjustment.
