FIELD: glassware production. SUBSTANCE: method includes feeding portions of molten glass and molding them on molding equipment containing at least one hollow molding member 1 with its inner surface covered with layer 5 of corrosion-resistant and refractory porous material. In the cavity 4 of molding member 1, before molten glass is fed, material capable of intensively evolving vapor at molding temperature is placed in amount slightly exceeding amount of this material's saturated vapor needed to fill cavity 4 of molding member 1, and layer 5 of corrosion-resistant and refractory material is impregnated with material placed in cavity 4. Further, molding member 1 is heated to molding temperature, its cavity 4 is evacuated to residual pressure 0.02 to 0.1 Pa, and material contained therein is thermostatically controlled within molding temperature range. Proposed apparatus contains molding equipment including at least one molding member 1 with sealed cavity 4 communicating with evacuation device. EFFECT: facilitated process control. 13 cl, 2 dwg, 1 tbl
