FIELD: road building and transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: compactor frame operating with articulated roll arrangement has longitudinal beams in front zone rigidly coupled by case which serves as tank for liquid, and in roar zone, by box-shaped fuel tank, walls of fuel tank being load bearing members for fastening hinge coupling members and wheel propulsive unit members. Boxes are installed above fuel tank at two sides of beams. These boxes are closed by cover and are used to keep tools and spare parts. They are used as steps for operator when he is getting into cab. Propulsive unit fastening members are provided also on vertical wall of tank for liquid and on beams. EFFECT: facilitated modification of compactor. 4 dwg
