FIELD: road building machinery. SUBSTANCE: road roller has separate modules in the form of standardized basic units which are structurally and functionally fully complete and they are as follows: frame, driver's cab, power plant, roll units, weight members. Central module is box-shape frame made up of longitudinal beams connected at their cantilever parts by boxes which are used as vessels for fuel, working fluid, and water. Frame is provided with connecting members in central zone for mounting of cab, and at end sections for power plant mounting box.
