POWER HYDRAULIC MODULE TO LIFT AND SHIP SPANS OF BRIDGES Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: bridge building, predominantly, beam bridges by method of pulling. SUBSTANCE: power hydraulic module is manufactured in the form of frame with open cavity in its lower part mounted on bearing member which presents table with flat polished surface. Annular groove housing sealing member movable in vertical plane is made over perimeter of frame around cavity. Cavity and space of groove located under sealing member are intercommunicated and communicated to pump station. Pickups to switch pump station on and off can be installed over perimeter of frame. When oil is fed under high pressure cavity frame "floats up" on oil cushion. Sealing member is pressed against surface of bearing member which prevents losses of oil. Pickups for switching on and off provide for signalling to increase or decrease feed of oil into cavity with change of load. EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability and efficiency of module. 2 dwg
