FIELD: testing of constructions and materials. SUBSTANCE: installation has frame 1 which carries loading mechanism made as two grips 2 and 3 for specimen ends and two-arm lever, coupled to limit switches 18 and 19. Installation has loader made in the form of screw 9 one end of which is coupled to one of groups of two nuts 10 and 11 positioned on screw 9, and bushing 9 embracing screw. Installation has specimen extension compensator in the shape of cylinder 6 positioned coaxially to bushing 8 with clearance to its side surface, two mechanisms rotating the nuts, each mechanism being manufactures as unit 13, flexible coupling embracing unit 13, one end of coupling being wound on respective nut, and load 15 connected to its other end. Nut 11 rests on bushing 8. Cylinder 6 is made of material with higher linear material coefficient than material of bushing 8. Bracket 16 is secured at face of cylinder 6 with nut 10 and is hinged to end of smaller arm of lever 17. EFFECT: higher test results. 1 dwg
