FIELD: automation and computer engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has generator of excitation pulses, generator of starting pulse, sound guide which has two electric-to-acoustic transducers at its ends, two shaping amplifiers, two RS flip-flops, counting pulse generator, counter, two memory registers, control decoder, exchange line and permanent magnet. Goal of invention is achieved by use of 2n-2 electric-to-acoustic transducers, 2n-2 shaping amplifiers, 2n-2 RS flip-flops, two OR gates and module number decoder. Sound guide is designed as n modules of equal length which are connected in series and are located along direction of movement of permanent magnet. Inner ends of first and n modules and each end of i-th module (i is in range of 2 to n-1) have corresponding electric-to- acoustic transducer.
