FIELD: pharmaceutical industry. SUBSTANCE: invention is developed to obtain a composition ensuring to get benzyl benzoate in both ointment and gel formula. Invention uses hydroxyalkylated aliphatic alcohols as surface-active substance of the general formula: R-O-
-H, an average molecular mass is at the range 2500-3500 Da where: R - alkyl containing 7-14 carbon atoms; n - a number of hydroxypropyl groups (12-16); m - a number of hydroxyethyl groups (45-60) and at amount 22.0-32.0 wt.-% of total composition of an aqueous-emulsion solution. The proposed agent is used for treatment of scabies and pediculosis. EFFECT: improved quality of agent. 1 tbl
