SUBSTANCE: separator for separation of light liquids with supply of mixture of light and heavy liquids has at least one separating chamber located behind the inlet pipe connection, for separation of light liquid from heavy liquid located behind the separating chamber with an overflow wall installed before it, outlet pipe connection for light liquid in the surge tank for light liquid, immersion pipe running from the point of the separating chamber located below the overflow wall downwards to the surge tank, and outlet pipe for light liquid running from the surge tank upwards, as well as a manifold for light liquid, connected to which is the outlet pipe for light liquid. Located between the base of the outlet pipe connection for heavy liquid and upper edge of the immersion pipe is a small through hole connecting the surge tank for light liquid to the outlet pipe connection for heavy liquid.
