FIELD: road building machinery. SUBSTANCE: hydromechanical gearbox has shafts, gears and fluid couplings. Output shaft of gearbox has extensions at both ends. Output shaft has output extension disengagement mechanism provided by re-arrangement of number of gears and one fluid coupling. Such design makes it possible to use hydromechanical gearbox on loaders in which disengagement of rear axle drive is required at travelling duty to prevent intensive wear of rear wheel tyres and appearance of parasitic losses.
