FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: to improve quality of yarn providing improved consumer's qualities and widened choice of produce, yarn containing cotton or viscose fibrous material, or mixture of the latter with polyester or polyacrylonitrile fibers, or mixture of viscose fibrous material with cotton and one type of man-made fibers, is supplemented by specified amount of fibers having linear density 0.41-3.6 tex and obtained from off-cuts of differently colored complex viscose threads having round or shaped cross-section. According to invention, high-module viscose fibers or fiber mixture are subjected to beating, hackling, and spinning, while, before beating operation, off-cuts of differently colored complex viscose threads are added followed by their cleavage into separate fibers with linear density 0.41-3.6 tex during subsequent processing of mixture.
