SUBSTANCE: first-pass tube bundles 12 are placed in center of tube system and respective central part of bottom tube plate is joined with peripheral part by means of flexible member whose main part is tubular ring provided with slit along generating line. First- and second-pass tubes have different temperature expansions compensated for by flexible member. EFFECT: reduced stresses which are the cause of bursts of tubes and poor sealing of flared tube-to-plate joints. 3 dwg
