FIELD: gyroscopic instrumentation engineering. SUBSTANCE: signals proportional to corresponding projections of seeming acceleration measured by means of accelerometers are formed. Accelerometers are installed along every axis of instrument trihedron coupled to gyro platform. Method also includes formation of gyro platform control signals, keeping of gyro platform in horizon plane and development of place vertical and navigational parameters on the basis of control signals proportional to corresponding projections of vector of instrument trihedron angular velocity with due regard for estimation of their errors by means of device which produces navigational parameters by comparing the values of similar output parameters of different circuits of integration of instrument trihedron kinematic equations. These parameters are obtained on the basis of signals proportional to sum of respective projections of instrument trihedron angular velocity vector and corresponding auxiliary signals the values and variation law of which are preset or set with the aid of navigational parameter generation device.
