FIELD: navigation of sea, air and land objects, direct or indirect stabilization of articles in plane of horizon. SUBSTANCE: components of absolute angular velocity of instrument trihedron are found with usage of signal of transmitter of absolute angular velocity located outside gyroplatform which considerably expands possibility of choice of structural design of system. Process includes measurement of components of apparent acceleration, formation of signals of control over gyroplatform, processing of formed signals, determination of navigational parameters and elevation vertical. Signal of vertical component of absolute angular velocity of instrument trihedron is generated by signal from transmitter of absolute angular velocity with usage of signal of control over gyroscope and information on directing cosines between axes of trihedron and sensitivity axis of transmitter.
