FIELD: post-accident decontamination of nuclear power plant environment. SUBSTANCE: method involves measurement of heat flux from earth depth and introduction decontaminating of salt solution into soil; solution contains at least one nonradioactive isotope of radionuclide being extracted. Decontaminating solution of higher concentration is introduced where heat flux is lower and of lower concentration is introduced where heat flux is lower and of lower concentration, where heat flux is higher. Mathematical formula for calculating concentration of decontaminating solution introduced in soil is given in description of invention. Decontaminating solution may be doped, in addition, with potassium and/or calcium, and/or manganese salts. EFFECT: improved decontamination of soil, reduced decontamination time. 4 cl
