FIELD: control of environment, natural resources and ecology. SUBSTANCE: method includes shrilling of a network of holes through dump entire mass down to its bottom. All holes are provided with common pressure pipes and valves and connected with inert gas source. Inert gas is supplied at excessive pressure to the dump bottom layer to saturate the entire dump mass. One part of holes is used for temporary creation of vacuum to intensify the process of saturation, and then for monitoring measurements of gas mixture composition and temperature in dump bottom layer. As inert gas are used argon, nitrogen or their mixture.
