FIELD: environment protection. SUBSTANCE: when accomplishing neutralization of dumps of industrial-domestic waste by method including digging of pits, dump territory section is cleaned from waste mass and pit is dug on cleaned area. Vegetable soil extracted from pit and mineral soil are heaped separately at side of pit. Mineral soil is mixed in ratio of 1:0.3-0.7 with 10-40 mass water suspension of hydraulic aluminosilicates with 9≤pH≤12, and layer of material, thus formed, is placed on pit surface. Then pit is filled with vegetable soil, layer by layer, each layer being impregnated with water suspension of hydraulic aluminocilicates. Then one or more sections of dump territory are cleaned from waste mass and one or more pits, respectively, are dug on said sections and remaining waste mass is neutralized as stated above. After treatment of waste mass, it is covered first with layer of material formed by mixing mineral soil with water suspension of hydrolyzed aluminosilicates and then is covered with layer of vegetable soil on which seeds of sod-forming grass are sown. Proposed step-by-step technology of pit digging and subsequent treatment of waste mass over entire dump territory makes it possible to localize and completely neutralize waste within the limits of dumping ground, without transporting waste mass out of the limits of territory.
