SUBSTANCE: jaw chuck has body 1, 2, spiral discs 4, 6 coaxially accommodated in body, cams 5, 7 installed in recesses of body and discs, and rotary drive of discs. Rotary drive is made in the form of three bevel pinions 12 located in body. Rotary drive is located between spiral discs 4 and 6, ring 10 and satellite bevel pinions 8 with axles 9. Made on spiral discs 4, 6 and ring 10 are bevel gear rings 11 meshed with satellite bevel pinions 8 and bevel pinions 12. Disc spirals have different direction. Ring has hole 10 to receive axles 9 of satellite bevel pinions 8. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
