FIELD: manufacture of machine tools for food-processing industry. SUBSTANCE: cutting machine has frame with column, driving and driven cutting tool pulleys mounted one above the other on frame, pulley drive, food product table, endless saw-type cutting member mounted on pulleys, cleaning device for cutting member. Cleaning device has nozzle connected with energy-carrier supplying device and sludge collector. Cutting member cleaning device is positioned adjacent to one side of cutting member and sludge collector - adjacent to other side. Gaseous substance such as compressed air or dry superheated steam or liquid substance may be used as energy-carrier medium. Nozzle may be positioned perpendicular to saw teeth plane or at an angle to this plane. Position of nozzle relative to cutting member may be regulated. Cutting machine may be equipped with a set of nozzles having outlet opening of various section, and nozzles may be replaced. Sludge collector may be connected to suction device. Cutting machine has device for removing sludge from cutting member. EFFECT: increased efficiency and prolonged service life. 8 cl, 10 dwg
