FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method of synthesis of 1-(5-nitrofurylacrylideneamino)-1,3,4-triazole (furacrylin). Synthesis is carried out by interaction of 5-nitrofurylacrolein with 1-amino-1,3,4-triazole at increased temperature. Method involves addition of powder-like 5-nitrofurylacrolein to 1-amino-1,3,4-triazole dissolved in water at mole ratio = 1:1, and process is carried out at 35-60 C followed by isolation of the end product by the known method. The synthesized substance is used as a veterinary preparation for treatment and prophylaxis of gastroenteritis and bronchopneumonia in agriculture animals. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis. 1 tbl
