BRICK-LAYING AND GEAR FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: laying of brick walls. SUBSTANCE: mortar is fed on to laid track in one operation in one pass over entire width of laid track. Mortar is applied on face of due brick facing bricks of already laid row , mortar is applied to this face when it is in horizontal position and is cut away from its two sides to form isosceles triangle or trapezium. Then brick is turned and laid on prepared bed pressing isosceles triangle or trapezium of mortar against brick already laid in row. Then vertical joint of laying is filled with mortar. Gear implementing this invention is manufactured in the form of flow chute having trapezoidal form in plan. Chute has walls and bases of trapezium are equal correspondingly: smaller one - to width of brick and larger one - to its length. Both handles are hinged to walls or chute. EFFECT: simplified design of gear implementing brick-laying process. 2 cl, 1 dwg
