FIELD: electrical communications. SUBSTANCE: device has exciter 1, main transmitting channel 2, backup transmitting channel 3, control unit 28, transmission channel analyzing units 4,5, power-circuit current check-up sensors 13,14, power switches 9,10, power supplies 7,8, power splitters 11,12, three switching devices built around power splitters 17,18,19, power adders 23,24,25, and controlled phase inverters 20,21,22, dummy antennas 27, delay lines 15,16 ballast loads 26, antenna 6. In case of main channel failure, control unit disconnects it from antenna and connects backup transmitting channel to the latter without switching over antenna inputs and without information loss. This is attained due to replacing high-frequency switches by three switching devices incorporating power splitters, power adders, and controlled phase inverters which made it possible to connect any channel to antenna input without additional switching and connecting delay lines to signal transmitting channels affording delay of high-frequency oscillations arriving at antenna during harnessing of analyzing units, power-circuit current check-up sensors, and control unit. EFFECT: improved reliability, provision for change-over from main to backup transmitter without loss of information. 2 dwg
