CULTIVATOR FOR SOIL TILLAGE IN SEEDLING ROWS Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: cultivator has frame, paired single needle-type disks and A-hoes, which are mounted on frame. Two pairs of paired disks are mounted on inclined pins and each is provided with auxiliary needle-type disk-sweeper fixed on inclined pin and mounted on frame by means of tine. Sweeper tine is rigidly connected with tine of needle-type disk. Diameter of sweeper is less than that of needle-type disk. Needles of sweeper are positioned between needles of paired disks, with space between them being at least equal to half the length of needle of main needle-type disk. Hoes are made A-shaped and mounted on outer side of paired disks. Tines of hoes are equally spaced from pin of sweeper. Tines of disks are provided with positioning mechanism for moving them in transverse-vertical plane. Positioning mechanism is formed as spacer screw for adjustment of working clearance between two pairs of disks. Cultivator is provided with lifting and hitching device for mounting it on front part of self-propelled chassis frame.
