FIELD: agriculture, in particular, equipment for ripping compacted track soil and performing other technological operations during advancement of tractor. SUBSTANCE: track ripper has frame with hitch device carrying two sections of working tools. Frame has two rectangular pipes positioned in parallel one with respect to another and interconnected through longitudinal bars. Two free ends of each section of working tools are inserted into pipes at their both ends to measure width depending on wheel spacing. Sections are secured in pipes by stop bolts. Such construction allows working tool width to be varied, when tractor wheel spacing is changed. EFFECT: wider operational capabilities, improved quality of different operations performed by ripper, reduced power consumption and decreased production cost. 3 dwg
