FIELD: cleaning air of solid particles. SUBSTANCE: centrifugal separator includes housing with spiral passage bounded by several partitions bent over cylindrical surface and shifted relative to each other forming dust removal slots between their adjacent edges. Outlet branch pipe is mounted on end surface of housing and inlet branch pipe is so mounted on housing that its one side is connected with lateral surface of housing and opposite side is engageable with cylindrical partition of maximum radius forming slot. Separator is also provided with dust collector connected at bottom of its housing. Axes of housing and spiral passage are vertical and parallel. Partitions are secured at end of housing forming spiral passage whose section has form of chute; side walls of inlet branch pipe are perpendicular to plane of axes of housing and spiral passage. EFFECT: ease in servicing due to position of chute whose open side is directed downward towards dust collector, thus facilitating change of objects of separation, cleaning of separator and collecting of separated particles. 7 cl, 4 dwg
