DUST-AND-GAS CLEANING UNIT Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: cleaning waste gases from dust and contaminating admixtures of acid nature (sulfuric oxides, nitric oxides, etc.) flue in particular, as well as exhaust gases of internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed unit includes separator having housing with settling member. Inlet branch pipe and axial branch pipe are mounted on this housing. Dust collector connected to housing is made in form of reservoir filled with dry finely-dispersed reagent possessing alkaline properties. Besides that, unit includes pipe line whose upper end is connected with inlet branch pipe and lower end is connected with lower portion of dust collector; it also includes ejecting device for delivery of gas mixture to pipe line.
