FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: amalgamator contains pretreatment chamber made in the form of pipeline with pockets, outlet of pipeline being connected with activation chamber through, disposed in chamber hollow, V-shaped connecting pipe perforated in its upper part and bearing bubbling and recycle facilities on its outlet end, whereas, at lower part of pipeline, siphon and siphon-ejector are fastened. Inlet of pretreatment chamber is connected through ejector with mercury feeder and slurry conduit. Amalgamator possesses a system to maintain mercury level in activation chamber.
