FIELD: oil and gas production, more specifically, devices applicable in sealing of oil and gas wells. SUBSTANCE: device has upper and lower members on which correspondingly toothed locking wedges are installed. Installed between locking wedges is flexible ring. Ring is installed for its pressing against well wall with relative motion of wedges to each other. Lockings wedges are made for radial motion and interaction with well wall due to relative axial motion of corresponding members and central member. Upper and lower locking wedges are made for extension due to application of downward force to central member and to upper member, respectively. Circular member is made for tight pressing to well wall due to application of upward force to lower member. EFFECT: provision of device for installation in tight contact with well wall with use of cable connection with day surface at any depth and in any point of well. 23 cl, 8 dwg
