FIELD: pipe line engineering. SUBSTANCE: device had frame, bearing unit with nozzles that embraces the pipe line, means for moving the nozzles, and feeding and cleaning facilities. The device is centered on the pipe line with a detachable bearing unit. When a pipe line should be cleaned water and abrasive are supplied through the nozzles under a pressure of 700-1100 atm. When a covering should be applied to a pipe line a material for covering is fed through the nozzles. In so doing the nozzles vibrate. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 10 cl, 57 dwg
