FIELD: heat power engineering; power generating plants. SUBSTANCE: burner 10 with low ejection of NOx can be regulated for optimum combustion velocities, temperature and oxygen levels. Burner 10 has many gas nozzles 38 which independently take air for combustion zone and ventilating diffuser 28 providing rotary swirling of air for rotation and mixing of gases in zone of primary combustion. Diffuser 28 can be axially adjusted to change distance between fan (fan blades) and primary combustion zone 24. Blades 30 of diffuser 28 can be adjusted in angular position for optimization of rotation and mixing of gases. Air for combustion is delivered through primary passage 20, secondary passage 42 and tertiary passage 54 to form different combustion zone/and provide complete combustion. Air delivery speed is controlled by ventilation shutter 26 according to combustion characteristics. Angular and axial positions of diffuser and ventilation shutter which controls air delivery to combustion zone can be automatically adjusted over entire combustion range of burner 10 according to required levels. To convert existing burners into efficient burner with low ejection of NOx according to proposed invention, primary air chamber can be modified into main chamber of burner. In other design version flue gas is subjected to recirculation and is mixed directly with fuel before combustion to decrease ejection levels. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 29 cl, 14 dwg
