FIELD: study of mono- and polycrystalline samples by methods of X-ray phase analysis and of X-ray diffraction analysis right in process of temperature action of heating or cooling on sample. SUBSTANCE: sample holder for X-ray phase analysis presents plane-parallel rings between which sample is positioned in plane of axis of goniometer. Ring of holder closest to radiation source is base of split body - cylinder inside which cylindrical metal insert with heater located on its outer side is placed. Electric contacts of heater are brought out beyond limits of body to base opposite to sample. This base has inlet and outlet holes for passage of cooling agent. Second pressing ring is butt of bushing. Thermocouple is inserted into central hole of bushing, metal insert and body. Annular groove is made in ring nearest to radiation source.
