FIELD: analysis of materials. SUBSTANCE: device removing moisture from materials has case with control panel, upper heater, lower heater, drying zone being located between current carrying bases. Upper heater is joined to case. Lower heater is spring-loaded and placed on upper surface of case for pressing against upper heater with the help of pressing unit manufactured in the form of cam-and-lever mechanism. Sample of examined material weighed in advance is clamped between current carrying bases of heaters and is dried for specified time at preset temperature. Monitoring of drying mode is carried out with the aid of unit of setting and control over temperature of heaters. On termination of drying sample is weighed again and moisture content of starting material is determined by difference of obtained values.
