FIELD: glass making industry; building practice. SUBSTANCE: proposed material is produced by melting feedstock having following composition: sphene concentrate, apatite, carbonatite, dolomite, borax, glass scrap, plagiopegmatite or nephelite concentrate, and quartz. Inventive novelty of proposed material resides in fact that it further comprises. Total chemical composition of material is as follows, wt.%: silica 46.11-51.93; titanium dioxide 6.81-8.77; alumina 5.82-8.36; iron oxide (III) 2.56-5.93; CaO 18.57-19.96; Mg 2.49-3.26; sodium oxide 5.50-5.9; potassium oxide 0.86-1.20; boron oxide 1.44-2.03 and P2O5 0.81-1.61. EFFECT: 1) slight difference in properties of proposed material when it is in solid and molten states; 2) slight variations in linear thermal expansion coefficients; 3) cheapness, since readily available wastes and by-products of mining industry are used. 3 tbl
