FIELD: washing technology. SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for using at galvanizing and chemical enterprises under conditions with high requirements to wash water supply, jet washing time, and quality of washing. A known method of controlling wash water supply includes (i) supplying water from its source into supply manifolds disposed in upper part of bath using pump system after suspender with parts is loaded and/or begins displacing relative to elements providing formation of jets in supply manifolds and (ii) interrupting wash water supply after displacement of suspender with parts is completed. Invention is distinguished by: recording time when suspender with parts is loaded into the jet washing bath; succession of commands to actuate pump system and unload suspender with parts from the bath; recording time when displacement of suspender with parts relative to wash water jets is completed; and connecting supply manifolds to wash water source; as well as by time parameters of a number of values and procedures. Known installation contains jet washing bath with emptying pipeline; supply manifolds with jet formation elements and rod arresters with transportation brackets and suspender with parts; automatic operator with control panel and load-supporting means to transport suspender rods with parts; wash water source; wash water-supply executive mechanism; and command unit with time relay. According to invention, installation is supplemented by sensors controlling loading suspender with parts and unloading it from jet washing zone; and executive mechanism to drain wash water out of supply manifolds.
