SUBSTANCE: proposed cooling system has radial cooling ducts 1 in stator core for cooling gas circulation towards gap 3 accommodating nonmagnetic cylindrical shell 5 placed around rotor 4. There are also cooling ducts 6 for cooling gas circulation towards gap 3 and fans 7 which function to draw in cooling gas from gap 3 and to convey it to gas coolers 8. EFFECT: improved thermal conditions of electrical machine active parts, improved efficiency of cooling system due to reduced windage loss. 1 wdgE
