FIELD: electric machine engineering, namely, engineering of systems for gas cooling of electric machine, primarily turbo generator, with closed ventilation cycle.
SUBSTANCE: electric machine includes body, positioned in it, stator, having core with radial ventilation channels and channels, having input and output on external surface of stator core. Rotor has ventilation channels. In stator, coolers are mounted with air gap, having additional cooling channel. Ventilators are mounted on both sides of rotor barrel. Gas cooling of electric machine is provided due to organization of three chambers: first chamber, positioned in zones of placement of frontal parts of stator winding, second chamber, positioned between middle part of stator core and additional cooling channel, and third chamber, positioned between edge parts of stator core and coolers. Radial channels of edge parts of stator core are connected on one side with air gap, on other side - with the third chamber. Channels of middle part of stator core on one side are connected to second chamber, on other side by means of gas-collecting air ducts are connected to third chamber.
EFFECT: increased cooling intensiveness of winding and active steel of stator core.
