FEED DISPENSING APPARATUS Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: animal farming, in particular, feeding of pigs kept in individual or group pens. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has hopper 1, feed guide 4 with discharge windows 5, which may be closed by gates 6,7, dosers 18 and feeders 21. Bar 8 mounted within feed guide 4 is provided with reciprocating scrapers 9 cooperating with thrusts 10,12, which are fixed on guide ends. Thrusts 10,12 are coupled with bar 8 and end switches 11,12 engageable through automatic program control system 17 with drive mechanism 14 for dispensing feed into dosers 18. Animals are fed by means of round or tray-type feeders 20 provided with conical combined feed dispensers arranged along animal feeding line. Automatic program control system 17 of feed dispensing apparatus is combined with light mode and manure removal control systems. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and improved pig feeding and keeping conditions. 5 cl, 1 dwg
