FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: self-feeder comprises batching hopper combined with two-sided feed-distributing tray. Batching hopper has the form of a piece of pipe disposed in the center of the two-sided feed-distributing tray with a longitudinal partition, equipped with stall dividers for individual feeding of animals. Batching hopper is positioned 100 mm above the two-sided feed-distributing tray for uniform supply of fodder to animals. Stall dividers are positioned 100 mm above the two-sided feed-distributing tray for uniform distribution of fodder throughout the feeding frontage at the self-feeder. The outer contour of the two-sided feed-distributing tray has an inner rectangular flange to prevent fodder losses in the process of feeding.
