FIELD: domestic equipment. SUBSTANCE: vacuum cleaner has unit with electric engine, exhaust fan and suction nozzle. Exhaust fan and suction nozzle are connected with electric engine. Suction nozzle is connected with inlet side of unit through dust separating device 16 directly or through rigid pipe. Hand unit 10 of vacuum cleaner may be positioned on stationary unit 11 for storage, when unit 10 is not operated. Hand unit 10 combines unit 11 and dust separating device 16 and is further provided with member 12 for connecting to rigid pipe. Power supply is provided by flexible extension cable 26 through which hand unit 10 is connected with storage unit 11, which, in its turn, may be connected with main socket by means of additional cable 39.
