SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to vacuum cleaners, in which repeated adhesion of dust to dust arrester, for instance filter, is prevented. Vacuum cleaner comprises electric fan to suck in dust and air through suction hole, the first dust-separating unit to separate arriving dust and air, the second dust-separating unit to separate dust and air coming from the first dust-separating unit, unit of dust discharge to remove dust stuck to the second dust-separating unit, and return air channel to return dust discharged by unit of dust discharge to inlet of the first dust-separating unit under action of outer air coming through inlet air channel. Vacuum cleaner has the first locking element to close air channel arranged between outlet of the second dust-separating unit and inlet of electric fan, the second locking element to close air channel arranged between the first and second dust-separating units, bypass air channel, which connects inlet section of electric fan and outlet section of the first dust-separating unit, the third locking element to close bypass air channel and inlet channel to supply outer air to inlet of the second dust-separating unit. Control unit is provided to control the first, second and third locking elements. Version of vacuum cleaner comprises unit of dust discharge to supply external air to inlet side of the second dust-separating unit and to remove dust stuck to the second dust-separating unit under action of external air, and bypass air channel, which guides external air to outlet side of the second dust-separating unit. The third locking element is intended to catch dust transferred by external air along bypass air channel.

EFFECT: simplified design of vacuum cleaner and system of dust discharge unit control.
