FIELD: civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: this relates to construction of thermal electric power stations. Multibarrel smoke stack is made in the form of self-bearing monolithic reinforced concrete structure having in its body four gas-branching barrels, elevator shaft, open through-passages for load-hoisting operations. Tapered half-circles of outer walls of gas-branching barrels are made in the form of truncated half-cones. Block-panels manufactured in factory conditions from acid- and heat-resisting material are installed over inner perimeter of gas-branching barrels and around elevator shaft. Before starting concreting of stack, each block-panel installed in design position is fixed by specific anchors to metal framework of barrels. Vertical joints between panels are filled with acid-resisting slurry through widened slots. After installing block-panels of first band of gas-branching barrels and elevator shaft, concreting of stack in whole is initiated. Rear wall of block-panels is concreted over entire surface of reinforced concrete barrels. This ensures integrity of all structural components of stack and its refractory lining with projected service life of 100 years and longer without overhaul repair of lining. EFFECT: high efficiency. 3 cl, 5 dwg
