FIELD: electric communication, digital information transmission through information channels which dissipate power of signals in time and frequency. SUBSTANCE: method involves detection of clock signal, measurement of pulse response of channel, detection of message sign. Before detection of message sign method involves subtraction of combination of messages of expected signal from received signal. Generated signal is squared and integrated. These signals are added to reference signals. Minimal total signal is detected. Each next clock interval of signal demodulation uses reference signals which are total signals which correspond to decision of previous clock interval. Corresponding device has input signal converter 1, adder 2, signal level discriminator 7, shift register 8, counter 10, signal processing units 2, memory units 4, 6, commutator 5 and output unit 6.
