FIELD: medicine, cardiovascular surgery, prophylaxis. SUBSTANCE: intravenous filter has two cones opened at the bottom. Tops of cones are connected to each other by a pull. Cones are developed by elastic threads with free ends. At least some free ends of the second cone threads are divided into two parts. One part is directed towards cone's top and recurved at the angle of 5-10 deg. against its axis. The second part is directed towards cone's bottom and recurved at the angle of 50-55 deg. against its axis. Elastic threads of the first cone in its top area are recurved at the angle of 30-35 deg. against its axis, in its bottom area - at the angle of 40-45 deg. against its axis. Free ends of elastic threads of the first cone are displaced along its length to some distance in opposite side against the place of fixation and recurved inwards. Tops of cones are one-way directed. EFFECT: broader indications for implantation, lower traumaticity and higher possibility to conduct reimplantation of filter out of vein. 4 dwg
