FIELD: printing production and branding. SUBSTANCE: foil contains polyethylene, terephthalate film, and coating based on polyvinylacetate (thermoplastic binder), segment, and filler. According to invention, coating is supplemented by polyvinyl alcohol and a surfactant as binding agents, so its composition is as follows (in wt %): polyvinylacetate, 20.6-36.0; polyvinyl alcohol, 1.3-2.4; pigment, 19.2-35.7; filler, 37.6-42.0, and surfactant, 0.3-4.7. Foil is manufactured by initially preparing aqueous suspension of polyvinylacetate-based coating, applying suspension upon polyethylene- terephthalate film, and drying resulting material. Aqueous suspension of component is supplemented with aqueous solution of polyvinyl alcohol, surfactant, and butanol as antifoaming agent. EFFECT: improved quality of hot stamping. 3 cl, 2 dwg
