FIELD: electrolytic processes. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrolytically depositing coatings onto continuously moving sheet and can by used in electrolytically tinned sheet metal production. Replacement of electrolyte type is provided for high-speed lines for tinning metal sheets operated on the basis of modified sulfuric acid in conditions of no stopping process and ceasing production. Task is solved by portionwise adding replacing components with predetermined variation in certain process parameters. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 3 cl, 1 tbl
