FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electroplating field, particularly to electrotinning of strip or plate of steel in process line of continuously working. Compound contains, g/l: tin, in the form of tin amidosulfate 50-90, sulfamic acid, free, 40-100, sulfates, in the form of SO4 2-, 0-15, nitrogen-bearing block - copolymer 1-6, herewith mentioned block - copolymer corresponds copolymer of propylene oxide and ethylene oxide, described by molecular weight in the range from 3950 up to 6450 and ratio between "amount of ethylene oxide connections and amount of propylene oxide connections " in the form 1.4-1.2:1.0 at initial formation of required amount of connections from propylene oxide with following oxyethylation. Method includes application of mentioned compound. Strip or plate, subject to electrotinning according to mentioned method, is described by covering mass of tin 3.65 g/m2 and relational porosity, equal preliminary 0.06%.
EFFECT: expansion of manufacturing capabilities, including receiving of prime quality coating with light load, ecological acceptability.
