FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: fibrous mass is treated by chemical reagent by way of feeding high-concentration fibrous mass and gaseous transferring agent, feeding resulting mixture and chemical reagent into tubular flow reactor followed by accumulating treated material in accumulation chamber. Tubular flow reactor is constructed in the form of coil wound on the treated fibrous mass accumulation chamber, ratio of tube diameter of tubular flow reactor to wind diameter being 1:(18-60). Chemical reagent is fed directly into reactor through longitudinally arranged nozzles. Reaction mass is treated in reactor in turbulent displacement mode with stream velocity 1-50 m/s. Installation has fibrous mass loading chamber, chamber for mixing fibrous material with gaseous transferring agent provided with gaseous transferring agent introduction means, tubular flow reactor connected with mixing chamber (on its inlet) and with treated fibrous mass accumulation chamber (on its outlet), and chemical reagent introduction means. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of treatment process. 7 cl, 2 dwg
