FIELD: pumps and compressors. SUBSTANCE: annular diffuser is made in form of ring with inner cylindrical surface. Between inner and outer surfaces of ring there are passages evenly distributed over circumference. Inlet part of passages is cylindrical in form and outlet part is cylindrical or conical. Outlet part of passages is provided with curvilinear bevel on inner side of ring formed by rotation of arc of circle around axis which is parallel and eccentric relative to ring axis. At least three points (at beginning, end and in center of bevel in section of symmetry of ring) lie in logarithmic spiral whose center lies in ring axis. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 cl, 5 dwg
