FIELD: protection of butt weld seams against corrosion in erection and repair of pipe lines. SUBSTANCE: prior to connecting the pipes having internal anticorrosive coats, thin-walled bushes made from corrosion- and heat-resistant metallic material are pressed in ends of pipes. Welding is first made over lining and then over material of pipes. Bushes are pressed by high-velocity plastic deformation. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 3 cl, 7 dwg
